Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Focus Aura you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. The Service

Focus Aura is a productivity app that uses gamification — growing a virtual garden — to help you concentrate. It provides timers, plant progression, statistics and optional social features. We may add, change or withdraw features over time.

3. Your Account

You must be at least 13 years old to use Focus Aura. You are responsible for your sign-in credentials and for what happens under your account. One person, one account.

4. Pro Subscription

Pro unlocks additional features such as custom durations, more garden slots, all ambient sounds and exclusive plants. Subscriptions are sold and managed through the Apple App Store: payment is charged to your Apple account, renewal is automatic unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the period ends, and you manage or cancel it in your Apple account settings. Where a free trial is offered, any unused part of it is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Prices may change; a change never applies to a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before it affects you.

5. Friends and Conduct

If you use the social features, your display name and profile photo are shown to the people who add you. Choose them accordingly.

You agree not to:

• impersonate another person, or use a name or photo that is offensive, misleading or not yours to use;
• harass, threaten or abuse anyone, including through the encouragement messages;
• circumvent blocking, rate limits or the daily limits on messages;
• use the social features to advertise, recruit or distribute anything.

You can block anyone and report a profile from within the app. We review reports and may hide or delete a profile, revoke access to the social features, or close an account that breaks these rules. Where the breach is serious, we may act without notice.

6. Coins, Plants and Other Virtual Items

Coins, seeds, plants, levels and streaks exist only inside the app. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be sold or transferred between accounts. We may adjust the in-app economy, and we may reverse items obtained through a bug or an exploit.

7. Acceptable Use

Do not use the app for unlawful purposes, do not attempt to interfere with the service or access other people's data, and do not attempt to falsify your focus statistics through automation or modified builds.

8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Focus Aura is provided as is. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we are not liable for lost productivity, lost data or other damages arising from the use of the app, to the extent the law allows. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be limited under the law of your country.

9. Termination

You may stop using Focus Aura and delete your account at any time from the app settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Ending your account does not entitle you to a refund of a subscription period already paid for; refunds are handled by Apple under its own policy.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these terms. The new version is posted on this page with a new date, and continuing to use the app after that means you accept it.
